Amermelade

Easy cocktail recipes ideas

Spritz Sangria

  • 60 ml Amermelade
  • 120 ml White wine
  • Sparkling water, Lemon-lime soda or tonic water, as desired
  • Fruits
  • Ice
Instructions:

In a wine glass filled with ice, pour in both types of alcohol, then fill the rest with your mixer of choice.

Stir gently with a spoon.

Garnish with your favourite fruits.

Spritz Mimosa

  • 45 ml Amermelade
  • Sparkling wine, as desired
  • Orange juice
  • Ice
Instructions:

In a wine glass filled with ice, mix the Amermelade and orange juice.

Add sparkling wine.

Stir gently with a spoon.

Garnish with an orange slice.

Spritz Cidre

  • 45 ml Amermelade
  • 250 ml Sparkling cider
Instructions:

Pour the cider into glass, over ice.

Add 45ml of Amermelade to the glass.

Stir gently with a spoon.

Garnish with an apple slice, if desired.

Spritz Rosé

  • 60 ml Amermelade
  • 90 ml Rosé wine
  • 60 ml Sparkling water
  • Ice
Instructions:

In a wine glass filled with ice, pour the Amermelade and rosé wine.

Add sparkling water.

Stir gently with a spoon.

Garnish, if desired.

Spritz Léger

  • 45 ml Amermelade
  • Sparkling water, as desired
Instructions:

In a hiball glass filled with ice, pour Amermelade and top with sparkling water.

Garnish with citrus wheel of your choice.

Spritz Americano

  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 30 ml Sweet Vermouth
  • Sparkling water
Instructions:

In a hiball glass filled with ice, pour both alcohols and top with sparkling water.

Garnish with citrus wheel of your choice.

Spritz

  • 60 ml Amermelade
  • Sparkling Wine (preferably Prosecco or sweeter sparkling wine)
Instructions:

In an oversized wine glass filled with ice, pour the Amermelade and top with the sparkling wine.

Variation: If you do not have sparkling wine, you can substitute it for 1/3 sweet white wine and 2/3 sparkling water.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

Beer Spritz

  • 45 ml Amermelade
  • Beer
  • Ice
Instructions:

Pour beer into your favourite glass, over ice.

Add 45ml of Amermelade.

Stir gently with a spoon.

Garnish with a slice of your citrus fruit of choice.

Spritz Tonic

  • 45ml Amermelade
  • Tonic water>
Instructions:

In a highball glass filled with ice, pour Amermelade and top with tonic water.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

Negroni Gentil

  • 60 ml Amermelade
  • 30 ml Gin
  • 30 ml Sweet Vermouth
  • Ice
Instructions:

Pour the three ingredients into a short glass filled with ice and stir for 15 seconds with a spoon. Garnish with orange peel, extracting its oils overtop of the glass. If you’re not familiar with this method, check out our video here .

Amermelade Shakerato

  • 75 ml Amermelade
  • Ice
Instructions:

Shake Amermelade in a shaker with ice and fine strain in a chilled champagne coupe or martini glass.

Garnish with orange twist.

La Plume

  • 45 ml Gin
  • 45 ml Sparkling wine (prosecco) or sparkling water
  • 30 ml Rosé wine
  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 10 ml absinthe
Instructions:

Pour all ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

X-O-L-O

*IBRV Signature cocktail created in 2012 at LES INCORRUPTIBLES in Montreal.

  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 45 ml Tequila blanco
  • 15 ml dry vermouth
  • 1 tea spoon marmelade
  • 20 ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 30 ml pink grapefruit juice
  • 2 drops of orange blossom water
  • Salt and chili powder rim (mix in a 5:1 salt ratio)
Instructions:

Wet the side of a rocks glass with lemon juice.

Roll or dip in rim mix.

Gather all ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice.

Strain onto new ice in rimmed rocks glass.

Garnish with grapefruit wheel.

Luciano

*IBRV signature cocktail created at Trattoria Luciano in Montréal in May 2016.

  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 15 ml Amernoir
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml olive brine
  • Prosecco
  • Olives
Instructions:

Shake all ingredients except Prosecco in a shaker with ice.

Fine strain into chilled champagne coupe. Top with prosecco.

Garnish with two green olives.

Montreal Cocktail - IBRV rendition

*In 2017, a group of service industry legends from Quebec sought out to create an emblematic cocktail for the city of Montreal. They even went to the famous "Tales of the Cocktail" festival in Louisiana to show it off to the entire world. The idea was to make an instant classic out of it, and have it be the city’s official cocktail for its 375th anniversary. The recipe calls for ingredients that refer to the symbols on the city’s flag and to its coat of arms. For more info, click here.

  • 20 ml Rye whiskey
  • 20 ml Suze
Instructions:

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice and fine strain into a chilled champagne coupe.
