Cocktails

L'Amer'Ricain

  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 30 ml Sweet Vermouth
  • Sparkling water
Instructions:

In a hiball glass filled with ice, pour both alcohols and top with sparkling water.

Garnish with citrus wheel of your choice.

Spritz

  • 60 ml Amermelade
  • Sparkling Wine (preferably Prosecco or sweeter sparkling wine)
Instructions:

In an oversized wine glass filled with ice, pour the Amermelade and top with the sparkling wine.

Variation: If you do not have sparkling wine, you can substitute it for 1/3 sweet white wine and 2/3 sparkling water.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

Amer-miral

Instructions:

Pour cold AMIRAL in a beer glass and add the Amermelade straight into it. Stir gently.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

Variation: If you do not have Amiral GINALE, we recommend using a lager or wheat beer.

Amermelade-Tonic

Instructions:

In a highball glass filled with ice, pour Amermelade and top with 1642 tonic water.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

Amermelade Shakerato

  • 75 ml d'Amermelade
  • Ice
Instructions:

Shake Amermelade in a shaker with ice and fine strain in a chilled champagne coupe or martini glass.

Garnish with orange twist.

La Plume

  • 45 ml Gin
  • 45 ml Sparkling wine (prosecco) or sparkling water
  • 30 ml Rosé wine
  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 10 ml absinthe
Instructions:

Pour all ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice.

Garnish with a citrus wheel of your choice.

X-O-L-O

*IBRV Signature cocktail created in 2012 at LES INCORRUPTIBLES in Montreal.

  • 30 ml Amermelade 45 ml Tequila blanco 15 ml dry vermouth
  • 1 tea spoon marmelade
  • 20 ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 30 ml pink grapefruit juice
  • 2 drops of orange blossom water
  • Salt and chili powder rim (mix in a 5:1 salt ratio)
Instructions:

Wet the side of a rocks glass with lemon juice.

Roll or dip in rim mix.

Gather all ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice.

Strain onto new ice in rimmed rocks glass.

Garnish with grapefruit wheel.

Luciano

*IBRV signature cocktail created at Trattoria Luciano in Montréal in May 2016.

  • 30 ml Amermelade
  • 15 ml Amernoir
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml olive brine
  • Prosecco
  • Olives
Instructions:

Shake all ingredients except Prosecco in a shaker with ice.

Fine strain into chilled champagne coupe. Top with prosecco.

Garnish with two green olives.

Montreal Cocktail - IBRV rendition

*In 2017, a group of service industry legends from Quebec sought out to create an emblematic cocktail for the city of Montreal. They even went to the famous "Tales of the Cocktail" festival in Louisiana to show it off to the entire world. The idea was to make an instant classic out of it, and have it be the city’s official cocktail for its 375th anniversary. The recipe calls for ingredients that refer to the symbols on the city’s flag and to its coat of arms. For more info, click here.

  • 20 ml Amermelade
  • 20 ml Gin
  • 20 ml Rye whiskey
  • 20 ml Suze
Instructions:

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice and fine strain into a chilled champagne coupe.

Garnish with lemon twist.
